Gjallarhorn: the horn owned by Heimdalr, guardian of the Valhalla and will be played to anounce the final battle of Ragnarök, "the twillight of the Gods"
Odin: The "father of the Æsir", ruller of one of the nine worlds in the cosmic Oak (Yggdrasil): the Asgard, Odin receives all the dead ones, fallen in the battlefield with honor. In the Völluspá (Poetic Edda) Odin throws his lance to the battlefield as the sygn of the incoming victory of the Æsir, but that the ones dying with honor will be received by Him in the palace of Valhalla.
Asgard: (or Asgård) literally means "garden of the Æsir" is the world which locates over the Middle Earth or Midgard, united to it by the Bifrost bridge, the highest point in Asgard is the palace of the fallen, the Valhalla, guarded by Odin, there Odin shelters the dead warrioris.
Midgard: Literally means "garden of the middle" also known as Mannaheim or "home of man", the world located in the middle of all the other 8 ones, between the cool Muspelheim and cold Niflheim.
Thor: Son of Odin, possess the Mjöllnir hammer, Thor is the guardian of Midgard, therefore the protector of mankind, the daughters and sons of Midgard.
Old Oak: The cosmic tree, born by and old seed which began to grown long before even the Æsir were born.
Song is about an ancient call of norse Heathens, thou shalt avenge the massacre of heathen tribes in Germany and Scandinavia, the call for Thor, protector of mankind to hold his hammer, symbol of scandinavian Heathen pride against the emblem of Roman catholics, the cross.
Falkenbach makes a claim to Odin, the father of all gods, the ruler of all things; the commander of the fallen; a call to lend the wisdom Odin obtained by offering his eye to Mimir. The last call to Odin is let them ride side by side, the honour of fight along with Odin in the final battle.
This songs mixes the final battle which is described in the Völusppá: the Ragnarok and the struggle of Heathens against christianity. The fight is seen by Heathens and nationalists of Scandinavia as a matter of national pride, they see christianity as a foe, a foreign power enslaving their Nations and culture, there's a close tie between Heathen traditions and Nationalism as the ancient rituals and songs are their true culture, their one and only origin, so a different religion is an attempt to chain their hearts, and their duty is to free their People from those chains. To be free they call Odin, their commander, their guide, their God.
In the past evangelic missions had a high human costs, thousands of warriors died on the battlefields and the survivors' traditions were chained, but their aim of freedom never died and is waiting the moment to come back again, to reign Scandinavia once again, this time, forever. Only Odin can summon the dead and the fallen, only warriors loyal to Odin will be granted by Odin's wisdom and power to fight and win when Gjallarhorn announces the final battle in which Heathens will rise with victory.
